The Institute for Independent Business
The Institute for Independent Business (IIB) is a not-for-profit research and accreditation organisation established in 1984 to bring independent businesses practical advice and timely ideas from some of the country's top experts.
The IIB is the largest organisation of its type in Europe with some 2,000 business advisors having now been through its accreditation process. These advisors, who are all mature senior executives, work mainly with small-to-medium-enterprises (SMEs), acting as 'sounding boards' and delivering support and mentoring whenever and wherever is required. By drawing on one of the most comprehensive support infrastructures in the world, an executive is able to address any aspect of a business with sound, practical advice.
Initiatives in Business Development
Initiatives in Business Development (ibd) is a fast growing network of independent business professionals, dedicated to developing, supporting and representing the interests of small and medium-sized organisations.
